As of today (3rd October 2026), there has been no announcement from the Chinese government about extending visa free entry for China into 2027. Currently visa free entry expires on 31st December 2026 so be prepared if you are travelling to China in early 2027 as you might need to apply for a tourist visa. Fingers crossed we hear an announcement soon! #travelchina #china #visa #traveltips
