I attempted making my own soap scraper tool with cardboard because I couldn't find any wave shaped scrapers for a beach soap. I don't know if you've noticed, but whenever I have made any kind of beach or ocean themed soap in the past, I have always left the ocean layers straight. Sometimes I make it so the waves look like they're lapping onto the sand, but the horizon layer is always flat like calm waters. I wanted this one to be the opposite. I wanted it to look like waves in the distance, so that's what I did with this homemade scraper tool. I swirled a bright blue, teal, white, and navy blue from the ocean, scraped it, and then added a white pencil line on top to mimic the froth of the waves. I swirled yellow, orange, and pink for the sunset layer, and then added a sun embed carefully into each one. I scented with lemon zest, salty ocean air, warm sand, and golden amber. I'm so anxious to see if this turns out. Fingers crossed!
