So what actually changed for me? (PS this is all completely WITHOUT surgery) 💛 Heavy strength training — 5 days/week, including 2 lower-body days + progressive overload. I know this can increase inflammation for some people with lipedema, so I’m not saying it’s for everyone. It just works well with my body. 💛 Low-impact cardio — stair master , incline walking + dancing whenever I can (those are my go-to’s) 💛 Nutrition — mostly whole foods, less processed food, better portion control & macro tracking. I didn’t eliminate foods. I also spent a significant portion of this journey in a calorie deficit while losing overall weight. 💛 The 🌶️s— I started these in March, and they’ve been an important part of my journey. They helped me a lot with things I was struggling to improve through nutrition and training alone. 💛 Lymphatic support — vibration plate, leg elevation, dry brushing and compression when I can. I’m definitely the most inconsistent with compression, but it’s something I’m continuing to work on. 💛 Lipedema-targeted supplements — I use Lipera (linked in my bio), and the rest of my supplements are in my Amazon storefront. This isn’t a “do this and you’ll get these results” post. Lipedema bodies are different, and what works for me may not work for you. I’m just sharing exactly what changed for my body because I know how frustrating it can be trying to figure it out on your own with no hope or no help #lipedema #lipedemalegs #lipedemafighter #lipedemawarrior #lipedemalife
