Remember the friend who invited his one-year-old daughter on our adult only wine tasting trip? Long story short, we've been planning a wine tasting trip with another couple and it's always been planned as an adult only trip. Well, couldn't find childcare for their one-year-old daughter, so they told us that they were just going to bring her with them. Well, he texted this morning and he apologized. He said that he should have asked first and he was sorry that he just assumed that we would be okay with it. I really appreciate that he came to that conclusion on his own. And then he asked if we would be okay with it. Again, I really appreciate that he came to that conclusion on his own. And my boyfriend did too. And we were just honest with them and said, we would love to take a wine trip with you. We feel though that those are adult only trips. So sorry that this one didn't work out, but let's plan something in the future when you do have childcare. And he totally understood. So there's no drama. So unfortunately, the story does have a very boring ending, but in the end, it's good because those are adult only trips.
