Painting My Son's Parking Spot

My 16-year-old is a senior and he said that he wanted to buy a parking spot this year. My oldest didn't start driving until a few months after his senior year started. So we didn't have the option to buy him a parking spot. I suppose that definitely saved us some money. And to be honest, I didn't think that my 16-year-old would want one, but he did. So we of course purchased a spot at the auction a few weeks ago. I believe that it was $110. That's actually not bad. I think the most someone paid for a parking spot was $900. That's pretty crazy if you ask me. But I guess the kid didn't want to have to repaint their spot this year. So they literally just put their $900 in the corner and called it a day. The school gave everyone who purchased a spot two days to paint it, five hours each day. Well, my son and I both had forgotten that it was actually this weekend. So we didn't buy any paint, pick up any stencils or paint brushes. And he actually had practice yesterday. So I went up there by myself to clean his spot up. And his girlfriend had extra white paint. So when he got out of practice, I convinced him to paint his background white. It was so hot out, we were able to get two coats done within 30 minutes. And then we headed home for the day. And went back today to finish it up. My son is very athletic but not very artsy. But lucky for him, me and my husband are. So we all got up really early this morning to be there at 8. And me and my husband got right to work. If you're wondering which one is his, he loves anime and chose something so simple that was inspired by that straw hat from one piece. I love y'all.
