Leg day doesn’t have to be complicated — especially when you’re just getting started. 🫶 This is a beginner-friendly, machine-only leg workout you can save and take straight to the gym. Machines give you more stability, make it easier to learn the movement pattern, and let you focus on actually training the muscle instead of worrying about balance or complicated setups. Here’s the workout: 1️⃣ Hack Squat — 3 × 8–10 Quads + glutes. Keep your back supported, control the descent, and drive through your whole foot. 2️⃣ Leg Press — 3 × 10–12 Quads + glutes + hamstrings. Keep your hips and lower back against the pad and only go as deep as you can comfortably control. 3️⃣ Leg Extension — 3 × 10–15 A simple quad isolation movement. Extend smoothly, squeeze at the top, then lower the weight under control. 4️⃣ Seated Leg Curl — 3 × 10–15 Hamstrings. Keep your hips down and avoid rushing the return — make the muscle do the work. 5️⃣ Hip Abduction — 3 × 12–15 Targets the side glutes. Push outward under control, pause briefly, and don’t bounce the weight. 6️⃣ Calf Raise — 3 × 12–15 Use your full range: stretch at the bottom, rise onto your toes, pause at the top, then lower slowly. If you’re new, you do not need to start heavy. Pick a weight that lets you complete every rep with good control. Once you can consistently reach the top of the rep range with solid form, gradually increase the resistance. That’s progressive overload — and over time, that’s where the results come from. 💪 Rest around 60–120 seconds between sets, take a little longer after the bigger movements if you need it, and focus on getting stronger rather than making every workout completely exhausting. 📲 Workit App — build personalized workouts, track your progress, stay consistent, and make your fitness routine easier to follow.
