Did you know Cape Coral had its own steakhouse? In all my steak reviews, the most recommended place in the comments was Prime 239 on Cape Coral Parkway. I know a lot of you are annoyed that it took me a while to get here, but guess what? I've actually been going here for two years, so I know how good it is. But we're officially doing a review. But first things first, let's check out the old fashioned. And guess what? This is my number two favorite old fashioned in all of Cape Coral. I recommend getting it with the Redwood Empire Bourbon. Now on to the main event. I ordered the 8 ounce Australian Wagyu fillet mignon and holy cow, this thing was so tender it was like slicing into butter. I order every steak medium rare. This one came out perfect. My ideal temperature for a steak is 1:29 internal. This is exactly what it's supposed to look like. The steak had a perfect sear, it had a perfect texture, it had perfect flavor. Everything you expect from a Wagyu steak. This is seriously one of Cape Coral's biggest hidden gems. This restaurant's quality is just out of this world. The atmosphere environment is awesome. The owner is super inviting of every single guest that walks through the door. I was fortunate enough to get a behind the scenes look of how they perfect their steaks. The owner tells me that he is the only restaurant in town with this Monju broiler. It can get up to 18 degrees. They sear the steaks on top and then they put them right in the broiler to finish them off. So with that all being said, I'm officially rating this steak a 9.3, which means it puts it number two on my list, only behind Aquabistecca's Tomahawk steak. This restaurant is one of my favorites. When you go there, make sure you request my favorite server ever. Make sure you join their VIP club for like a hundred bucks you get a really cool challenge coin and then for life you get 10% off your checks. And I promise you, once you you're gonna go a million times. Alright, where do you think the best steak in Southwest Florida is? Make sure you comment your recommendations and I might just check it.
