Why it worked

The video effectively uses a common, relatable problem (green finger from jewelry) and explains the science behind it in an engaging way, while also exposing a potential scam in the jewelry industry. The use of visual examples and a clear contrast between cheap and expensive materials makes the information easily digestible and shareable.

Summary

The video explains why some jewelry turns your skin green, attributing it to the use of cheaper metals like brass and copper that react with sweat. It contrasts this with stainless steel jewelry, which is more durable and expensive, and highlights that many brands sell plated jewelry deceptively.

Product placement

Hard Jewelry: ACTS - The video discusses and shows examples of jewelry sold by Hard Jewelry, implying it's a brand that sells jewelry. Removing it would change the video's topic. The creator's bio link also points to Hard Jewelry. The video also mentions "brass" and "copper" as materials used in jewelry, and "stainless steel" as a material used in surgical equipment and skyscrapers. These are materials, not products being sold in this video.
