Dolly Parton's star has been vandalized. A fan reported that flowers left at the memorial had been taken and that scratches had damaged Dolly Parton’s name. Crews removed parts of the star as they worked to replace its cracked terrazzo surface and repair the brass emblem. The Hollywood Chamber of Commerce said the star already had significant cracks and had been scheduled for repairs before the reported vandalism.
