Your 11 lines are not only “anger lines.” They can build from years of frowning, focusing, squinting, concentrating, and sun exposure. ☀️ UV exposure can accelerate collagen breakdown, while repeated movement keeps folding the same area again and again. And there’s a lot happening anatomically between your eyebrows: the corrugator supercilii, procerus, frontalis, and orbicularis oculi all influence movement around this region. That’s why this technique needs to be precise. Use your second hand to stabilize and resist the movement while you work. Otherwise, you may simply drag the skin and recreate the same folding instead of actually targeting the tension. We want to relax the muscle, not exercise the wrinkle. And then comes facial feedback: notice how often you pull your eyebrows together when reading, driving, working, or simply thinking. Release the tension AND stop unconsciously recreating it. Save this technique and practice it consistently. 🩷
