Why it worked

This video likely performed well due to its relatable "day in the life" content, capturing a common experience (getting gas and a drink) during a holiday weekend. The use of trending sounds and hashtags also contributed to its reach.

Summary

A young woman is at a gas station, holding a gas pump nozzle and a can of Coca-Cola. She mentions it was Labor Day weekend and she was 17, and that she bought a Coke and gasoline.

Structure

1At the gas station
2Holding gas pump and Coke
3Mentioning Labor Day weekend and age
4Stating purchase of Coke and gasoline

Product placement

Coca-Cola (drink): ACTS - it is held by the creator and consumed. Removing it would change the visual narrative. Gas (fuel): ACTS - it is being dispensed into the car. Removing it would change the visual narrative. 7-Eleven (convenience store): APPEARS - it is visible in the background as a store. Removing it would not change what happens in the video.
