Here five East Coast Christmas trips that are actually worth the drive. First we have Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, literally nicknamed Christmas City USA. You've got Christmas markets, historic downtown street, amazing lights, and that classic old-fashioned Christmas atmosphere. And number two, we have Williamsburg, Virginia. Williamsburg at Christmas is actually perfect if you want something that feels old-fashioned. Colonial Williamsburg is decorated for the whole season. Plus you can do Christmas town at Busch Gardens while you're there. Up next, we have McAdenville, North Carolina. McAdenville is known as Christmas Town USA. The whole entire town transforms with lights every December. This one especially is amazing if you want a quick Christmas road trip without spending a ton. Now at number four, we have St. Augustine, Florida. If you want Christmas without freezing, this is your go-to. St. Augustine has its Nights of Lights, historic district gets covered in millions of lights. It's completely different from your typical snowy Christmas trip. And finally, we have Newport, Rhode Island. Historic mansions are completely decorated for Christmas. The whole town has that elegant, nostalgic New England Christmas feeling.
