storytime why I smashed a plate on the ground at a miami restaurant A video of me smashing a plate on a restaurant from 3 years ago is going viral right now, so I thought I'd do a story time. Basically, there's this restaurant in South Beach, it's one of my faves actually, their food is amazing. And right before dessert, they give you the option to smash these plates on the floor because that's a Greek tradition or whatever. At the time I was training for a marathon and I was really scared of dropping the plate on my face. Obviously, and I didn't want to cut off my feet. But anyway, that's why I was so tentative. I think I was also like 20 years old at the time and I was a full on child. I was scared. We've grown now, although I can't promise if I went back there I would not be that scared. What's funny is I was showing my mom the video today and she would literally wanted me to go out in our backyard and the Hamptons and do it DIY style. As if I would ruin any of our nice plates. Anyway, I'm not sure why this is blowing up now, but that's TikTok for you.
