Original caption
Tesla's Cybercab just moved one step closer to full autonomy. The company received FCC approval connected to its wireless charging system, allowing the vehicle to use Ultra Wideband (UWB) positioning for precise alignment over charging pads without human input. It may sound like a minor regulatory update, but it solves a critical problem for autonomous fleets: automated charging without drivers, cables, or human assistance. For robotaxis operating 24/7, efficiency matters just as much as intelligence. The bigger picture is infrastructure. Autonomous vehicles are no longer just about self driving software. They also require automated energy systems, fleet coordination, and seamless vehicle to environment communication. Tesla appears to be building all three at the same time. #tesla #cars #technology #technews #innovation
