Science fiction just collided with reality as a human fighter stepped into the ring against a 6 foot "Terminator" robot. REK, the company behind the world's first humanoid robot fight league, recently organized an unprecedented physical bout. Billed as the first human vs Terminator robot fight, the match pitted a live human combatant against a towering remote controlled humanoid machine in a dedicated arena. Footage from the event shows the human challenger initially advancing and landing punches against the robot. The confrontation escalated rapidly when the humanoid machine countered the attack, delivering a forceful kick to the human and proving that these systems are highly capable in physical combat.
