Your foot pain has nothing to do with your foot. Neither is your hip pain about your hip. Or your shoulder about your shoulder. I see this constantly with desk-based execs: They treat 3 pain points as 3 separate problems Buy the ergonomic mouse The better chair A stretch for each spot And it barely moves the needle Why? Because your body doesn't run 3 separate systems. It's one system. And when one part stops moving well, say, your hips, from 8+ hours a day sitting, the rest of the body compensates And that compensation has to show up *somewhere* Sometimes it's your lower back Sometimes it's your shoulder Sometimes, weirdly, it's your foot Gear changes your position It doesn't change your pattern Try this instead: 1️⃣ Hip hinge with a dowel on your spine (3 points of contact: head, upper back, tailbone) → 3x8, slow 2️⃣ Scapula wall slides to open up what years of sitting closed → 3x10 3️⃣ 90/90 hip switches → 5 slow reps per side — Markus
