Our garden needs pathways but I have changed my mind probably 18 times at this point so I saw something online recently and decided to give it a try. It is to make your own cobblestone path out of milk jugs and cement mix. So here it is. We gave it a whirl last weekend. The process is pretty easy. You just cut up milk jugs into circles. It doesn't stick to the cement mix and you fill the molds as much as possible. Leave yourself a little bit of room so that you can kind of like see where the lines are and you pat everything down as flat as possible. You can use a stone to kind of smooth out the edges after I remove the milk jug molds that I created here. I have to say I'm kind of surprised at how good it looks. Look at this. This is after it dried for 24 hours and it doesn't look bad. I'm kind of convinced we might do this for the entire garden. We gave it a couple of tries to stop walk on and everything and we're gonna see how it ages. Would you do this in your garden?
