Thing is absolutely massive. This is how you get four dishes for $20 in Flushing. Yes, in this economy. Our first stop of the day was at Lao Jie at Ever Prosper Food Court and we got this massive scallion pancake for only $6. All right, let's give it a try. So instantly you get a light crisp. You get that little saltiness, but the pepper and the scallion really brings it home. We got out of the heat. We're in air conditioning here in New World Mall and we're hitting up Joe's Steamed Rice Roll. These steamed rice rolls are legendary. This is only $5. You can either get pork, I opted for pork. Chili sauce, sweet soy sauce, peanut sauce, and hot chili oil on top. The texture on this is just so awesome. Check out our next spot. For our third spot, we're at Gao Xiao Pa for their roujiamo. $6 for this amazing meal right here. Well, a lot of people call this a Chinese hamburger, but typically a flatbread, some type of protein in it. So here he's using chicken thigh, slow roasting it on a spit. There's tons of spices in here. I get mine spicy. It has a deep umami, savory flavor. That you get at the end. I'm just always amazed at how filling this is for $6, absolutely loaded. But we do have a couple bucks left, so let's go to our final spot. Our final spot is Baguette Talk. It's a bakery. There's plenty of options there that are just a couple bucks, but it's so hot today, we had to go with the soft serve. This was only $1.95. We got the matcha ice cream. You can also choose vanilla. Oh, wow. It's actually more light than, let's say, you would get at Mr. Softee. It's extremely refreshing. This is worth every single dollar. I'm so full, I can't believe how much food we were able to get for $20. Total: $18.95, get for $20. Let us know where to go next.
