DYSON AIRSMOOTH VS AIRWRAP

Let's compare the new Dyson Airsmooth to the Dyson Airwrap ID. Let's go. First impressions of the new Dyson Airsmooth, I just got it in the mail. Let's open her up. It's really barebones packaging. Rip it out. Now we don't need this. So attracted to this because it's so small and compact in the hand. Little travel case thing. So this is what the head looks like. It feels like a soft matte plastic. It's pretty rigid actually. Here's the comparison. So much shorter barrel. The handle looks a lot shorter, which is nice. Much more travel friendly. And then here's the paddle brush from the Dyson Air app. Comparison. Now, as I suspected, this head does not come off, which kind of annoys me, but I understand why they did it. They don't want people making like, dupe attachments so that people could buy this instead of the Airwrap. Which is understandable, but how can I wash the brush head? How can I prep my hair and preparation to use this? This is not a complete hair tool now. It's kind of annoying. They should have made a function where the top of this could pop off and like blow out air or something. I don't know. Because they're advertising you to use this on soaking wet hair or like 70 to 80% dry hair. Usually, tools like this, you use them on 70 to 80% dry hair. Let's do a sound test. This is what it sounds like. I don't feel any air coming out. It feels warm. So that's the first setting. Second setting, third setting, it's quite warm. First setting, second setting, third setting. This is hot. Full speed and hot. Wow, it's quite warm. So we have these that have like the air holes in them. This is like the smoothing part, I believe. And then these are just prongs that are supposed to have give to them so they don't snag your hair. I like this a lot better than like the Revlon one step. So the traditional ones, they usually have like the synthetic boar bristles that kind of just deform over time. This feels like it's going to last quite a long time. But I'm going to read the literature and like how they tell you to use this. If they tell you to like use this on soaking wet hair, I'm going to be a little bit annoyed.
