Burtato (sweet potato burrito)

Why it worked

The video offers a creative and visually appealing take on a high-protein, calorie-conscious meal, using a common ingredient (sweet potato) in an unconventional way. The "burtato" concept is novel and intriguing, encouraging viewers to save and try the recipe.

Summary

The creator demonstrates how to make a "burtato" by scooping out a baked sweet potato and filling it with a mixture of seasoned ground beef, sausage, eggs, and cheese. The filled sweet potato is then pan-fried until golden brown and served.

Structure

1Prepare sweet potato shell
2Cook seasoned ground beef with cheese
3Cook sausage and eggs with cheese
4Assemble the burtato filling
5Pan-fry the stuffed sweet potato
6Serve the burtato

Product placement

TJ's Green Goddess (appears, acts as seasoning for beef and eggs, removing it would change the flavor profile of the dish)
