THE EYE by HEY JIM! Peruvian fashion project Hey Jim! creates wearable pieces that transform clothing into sculptural and surreal objects. In this design, a large realistic blue eye emerges from the center of a deep-red textile heart. ARTVANGARDE. The piece is constructed with fabric, chains, beads and metallic elements, creating something that feels simultaneously like jewelry, sculpture and clothing. Placed directly on the body, the eye becomes impossible to ignore. Instead of functioning as a simple decorative accessory, it turns the garment into a strange character of its own as if the clothing were looking back at the viewer.
