MOVING DIARIES

I'm moving into a 1940s cottage style home in Nashville, Tennessee. And so far in the moving process, you have seen me get the keys to my new house. You can just see the excitement on my face. And I've also cleaned the entire thing top-to-bottom. I swept and up this whole house and it was a ton of work. But, now that it's all squeaky clean, it's finally time to start moving everything in. I packed up basically my entire kitchen from my other apartment and fit it all into these three Ikea bags and was able to unpack them and organize them one by one. My kitchen at the other apartment was my least favorite room in the house. It was so tiny and dark and there was barely any room to move around in there. But, like kitchen in the new house is basically my favorite part about the house. There's so much room to move around. It's so bright and airy in here. And all of the windows provide such great natural light. So it's so warm and inviting. I have also never had this much counter space in my life. So if anybody has any ideas of how to decorate that, that would be very helpful. My kitchen is definitely far from finished. But it's the first room in my house that's starting to make it feel like a hole. Stay tuned for part four.
