💔LORENA HAS BEEN WAITING SINCE FEBRUARY. MORE THAN LONG ENOUGH. Lorena has been sitting in this shelter kennel since 2/11/26, and I genuinely don’t understand how this sweet girl is still waiting for someone to choose her. She’s a 5 year old German Shepherd mix who is (I think) dog friendly, keeps her kennel clean, & seems to be potty trained. She’s even been out to adoption events and done well. She’s calm enough to handle on leash, doesn’t jump on people, knows sit, enjoys getting pets, loves chasing a ball, & walks right back into her kennel when it’s time. She may have a little energy to burn, but that’s not a bad thing. She’s a relatively young, beautiful Shepherd mix who just needs someone to give her a real chance. Lorena has been waiting for MORE THAN 7 MONTHS. That is such a huge portion of her life to spend behind a kennel door. She’s watched so many other dogs go home and is wondering when/ if it’ll ever be her turn. She deserves a family who sees her, chooses her, & brings her home.
