Dairy has been watching other dogs go home since July 27, 2025. 😭 Will it EVER be her turn? PLEASE HELP!

😭DAIRY HAS WATCHED SO MANY DOGS GO HOME FOR OVER A YEAR. WHEN WILL IT FINALLY BE HER TURN?😭 Dairy came into Garland as a stray on July 27, 2025. She has watched dog after dog come through these doors, get adopted or rescued, & leave for their families. Dairy is STILL here. She is now THIRD LONGEST RESIDENT in Garland, TX shelter and I genuinely cannot wrap my head around a dog spending more than a YEAR of her life behind a kennel door. 💔 Dairy is the kind of dog who makes life easy. She is friendly when meeting new people, walks beautifully on a loose leash, doesn’t jump, takes treats gently, & knows how to sit. She absolutely loves attention and enjoys every head scratch & back rub she can get. She’s not super interested in chasing toys or making a big fuss. Dairy is much more interested in being with her people. She has a medium energy level, so she’d probably be perfectly happy going for a nice walk with you, then settling down by your side afterward. She is also good with other dogs. And when it’s time to go back to her kennel, Dairy walks right in. She is such a good girl. There is nothing flashy or complicated about what Dairy is asking for. She just wants a home and a companion. She has spent over a year watching everyone else get their turn. She has waited through seasons, holidays, & countless families walking past her kennel. Dairy has waited long enough. Someone out there needs this girl in their life.
