Why it worked

The video leverages a popular 'random generator' challenge format that encourages audience engagement and curiosity about the final result.

Summary

The creator uses Pinterest to search for random poses, characters, and items to create a digital drawing. They combine these elements into a final illustration featuring a character in a top hat.

Structure

1Title slide introducing the challenge
2Searching Pinterest for poses and characters
3Sketching the initial character outline
4Searching for random items and backgrounds
5Adding details and final composition

Product placement

Pinterest (a) it ACTS — the creator uses its search interface to generate random prompts and images to guide their drawing process. Removing it would change the entire premise of the video. Minecraft (b) it merely APPEARS — the background of the final drawing is a screenshot of a Minecraft landscape. Removing it would not change the video's core action.
