my darkest thoughts attack when i'm isolated. that's what satan wants. he doesn't need to come at you loud. he just needs to get you alone. away from the people who speak truth into your life. away from your pastor, your family, the friends who know who you really are. because in the silence, the wrong thoughts get louder. and without anyone to counter them, they start to sound reasonable. i've been in those seasons. quiet stretches where i pulled back from everyone. and every single time, my thinking got darker. not because God left, but because i gave the enemy the conditions he needed. isolation is not rest. it's a trap. God never designed you to do this alone. He designed you for community. for people who sharpen you. for a pastor who tells you the truth even when you don't want to hear it. for family that keeps you grounded. for friends who don't just celebrate you but challenge you. that's not weakness. that's wisdom. Proverbs 27:17 says, "Iron sharpeneth iron; so a man sharpeneth the countenance of his friend." you need people around you who make you sharper. the ones who love you enough to push back when you're heading somewhere you shouldn't. don't let satan use your need for quiet to cut you off from the people God put in your life. stay connected. stay surrounded. the enemy works best in the dark. don't give him the silence. when the isolation hits and you don't know who to reach out to, i want you to have somewhere to go. that's why we built the Core of the Heart Daily app. daily devotionals, mentorship with me, real scripture, hours of video teachings, plus instant answers rooted in scripture with GospelBot for the moments when your own head is running the show.
