My Pet Monster was everywhere in 1986. Try finding one now that still has the cuffs. A greeting card company made this. American Greetings, the same Cleveland studio that gave us Care Bears and Madballs, decided to make a plushy monster with horns, fangs, and a set of orange handcuffs with one link that snaps apart. Nobody kept these nice. The paint wears off the hands and feet, the fur mats down, and the cuffs walked off to school and never came back. The cartoon lasted one season. Nobody made another one this size. Did you have a My Monster? #MyPetMonster #AmToy #AmericanGreetings #80sToys #VintagePlush
