Houthi fighters have opened a desert battle near the border between Saudi Arabia and Yemen. Saudi-backed government forces are trying to push through Al Jawf toward the Houthi-held capital. The Houthis say they stopped the advance with missiles and ground attacks, while government troops say they are regrouping. If the offensive fails, Saudi Arabia faces a renewed ground war along its southern border. #Yemen #SaudiArabia #Houthis #AlJawf #MiddleEast #Geopolitics #IranWar #R2Reports
