Crave Cafe in Studio City has officially closed its doors after 20 years. 📍 11992 Ventura Blvd, Studio City, CA 91604 Crave Cafe opened in Studio City, right next to Trader Joe's in the Laurel Plaza, and became a staple for crepes, pancakes, omelettes, paninis, salads and espresso drinks. It was always open late, and for a while ran 24/7, making it a go to no matter what time it was. Two decades of regulars came through for the Mermaid Lemonade, the bread pudding, and the kind of casual comfort food that made it feel like part of the neighborhood. From the business: "After 20 incredible years, the time has come to say goodbye to Crave. We fought hard to keep our doors open. We gave it everything we had, worked through the hard times, and never stopped trying to keep Crave going. After 20 years of serving this community, it's not easy to say goodbye. To every customer, friend, family member, and employee who has walked through our doors THANK YOU ❤️" Crave Cafe's Sherman Oaks location remains open for anyone still craving a fix. 20 years is a long run for any restaurant in the Valley, and Crave Cafe became part of the fabric of Studio City for a lot of us.
