austin just got a new fried chicken spot 🍗👀 Joshua Weissman officially opened ben & lynn’s, his first restaurant, so obviously I had to go see what it was all about. fun fact: the restaurant is named after his parents, ben & lynn, who played a big part in sparking his love for cooking ❤️ I went completely incognito, paid full price for everything myself, and tried a little bit of everything so i could give you my honest take. 🍗 b&l classic chicken sandwich 🍯 honey dipped chicken 🍗 chicken nuggets 🍟 fries 🥫 b&l sauce, honey mustard, yam yum & ranch 🍦 rotating soft serve the chicken was crispy, juicy and flavorful, but i do have to say… almost $2 for EACH extra sauce?! 😭 that felt a little wild to me, especially when you’re already paying for the chicken. overall, definitely a spot I was curious to try, and I actually really enjoyed it! The dipped sandwich and crispy fries were a banger!!! Definitely beat out any fast food chicken spots I've tried...
