Photojournalist Eliana Moreno and Pilot George Marciniw were the two people on board the NBC L.A. helicopter that crashed Tuesday evening while covering a fatal bus collision. Both members of the news crew died as a result of the crash. A third victim on the ground who has not yet been identified was also killed in the incident. "They were both doing what they loved so much and for me, that’s comfort in knowing how happy they were. They loved breaking news, and they loved being in News Chopper 4,” co-anchor of NBC L.A.'s morning newscast Lynette Romero said on air Wednesday. The FAA has opened an investigation into the crash.
