I'm 24 years old and as of today I've just officially saved my first $100,000 and here are all the things that helped me save money while still doing what I wanna do. If you've been, you know that one of my big goals this year was save my first $100,000. So I am super excited that I was able to do that. Go ahead and get this. No, I never received a handout from my parents. For starters, I do not have a car payment. I bought a cash car back in like 2022, 2023. Is it nice? Not exactly, but it gets me from point A to point B. I worked in college. I worked probably 30 hours a week in college. I nanny, I worked at Chick-fil-A, I served, I did a bunch of random things so that I wouldn't have to take out student loans. So I came out of college with no loans. I paid like $9,000 a semester for school. A private college for a degree that I'm no longer even using. I manually track what I'm spending each month because if you're not looking at it, it's so easy to tap Apple Pay and swipe a card. And if you actually, you're gonna be much more conscious of where your money is going. I put everything on a credit card for everything POINTS!!!! So that I can travel for free. I wanna go to South of France next year. Already priced it out. Me and Brandon have pretty much gonna go on this entire week and a half, two week trip to France and Italy for free with credit card points. Don't get my hair done. I don't get my nails done. I do press-ons. I'm the biggest Olive & June press-on fan. These last for two weeks. They're like $5, $10. Don't eat out during the week. I don't do a lot of fast food. I think a lot of people, I'm just gonna like grab a quick fast food bite. It adds up so quickly and you don't really realize. Instead of keeping all of my money in a regular checking or I keep a hefty amount of my money in a Capital One high yield savings account where I'm making like $150 a month in interest and that's just free free money. Everything else is in my Fidelity investment account. Just opened my investment account this month last year, not really knowing. I invest only in ETFs like the S&P 500, QQQ, VMO, VI, whatever. There's a bunch of different ones that are not gonna make you as much money as individual stocks, but also don't have the ability to maybe lose you as much money as other stocks. I'm already up $4,500 just on my investments alone. I also work multiple jobs. I don't think I've had one single stream of income ever actually. This time last year I was teaching and owning a coffee cart and doing like some random things here and there. And I think I made like $55,000 in the year. And now this year, I do marketing, I did some education, I own a business, I do content creation, I do client relations. And I think so far I made about $95,000 this year. This was a really big goal for me. So I'm really excited. Watch this long. Thanks for watching. Thank you for supporting my content because a lot of what I year was content money, extra income essentially. Love Island reference, IYKYK. It's like big day for girl, but big day for say.
