Crumbl Cookies

Why it worked

The video uses a relatable, high-energy comedic skit format that keeps the viewer engaged while naturally featuring the product as the central object of the negotiation.

Summary

A mother and son engage in a humorous negotiation for Crumbl cookies on the son's birthday. The mother eventually agrees to buy the cookies, and they share them while the mother makes jokes about the son's birth.

Structure

1Son asks for Crumbl cookies for his birthday
2Mother repeatedly denies requests for specific flavors
3Mother uses the ordering kiosk
4Mother and son receive the cookies
5Mother and son share the cookies and joke about the son's birth

Product placement

(a) Crumbl Cookies: The interface of their ordering kiosk is operated to place an order, and the physical product is shown and eaten. Removing it would change the entire video. (b) Scarface: A logo on a t-shirt. Removing it would not change the video.

No. I'll give you two more Dubai chocolates. Okay then. You're free. First bite is mine because you know what? I gave birth to you. You literally crawled out of me. Take a bite. I need milk.
