This State Park had me feeling like I was in Costa Rica. If you are staying anywhere near Hunting Island in South Carolina, it’s worth the stop. This drive to the beach alone has to be one of the prettiest roads in the entire region. In addition to the beaches to hang at, you have Boneyard Beach with dead trees, hikes, a massive lighthouse they filmed Outer Banks at, and piers that take you out to what feels like the middle of a marsh. We saw plenty of wildlife and if it looked this good on a gloomy day I can only imagine it during a nice sunset. #beaufort #huntingisland #thingstodo #charleston #beaufortcounty
