If you wanna talk about hidden gems in Kentucky, let me show you GoGo on the Dock on the Guist Creek Marina in Shelbyville, Kentucky - a 4.9 star Google rated restaurant on a little marina. So much here is made in house like the homemade blackberry lemonade is made with real fruit and sweet heavens it’s gas. And the rating makes sense because outside of the vibes, I got a fish and chips fried in tallow and it was quite literally my favorite texture I’ve ever had on fried cod. Decadent. Everyone loved their sandwiches too and the fries too. It doesn’t feel like you’re in Shelbyville and even the sourdough you get with every meal is all homemade with organic flour. This place is only open Friday through Sunday lunch hours, but I can’t recommend it enough. The owner is the sweetest too.
