This is one of my favorite Mexican restaurants in Kentucky and it’s in my favorite place in Kentucky. Right in the heart of Red River Gorge, La Cabaña is not a run of the mill Mexican spot and anyone that’s eaten here knows. But the star is their arroz con pollo. I think theirs is literally better than any others I’ve had and it has to do with these homemade style tortilla chips you get. But it ain’t just the food, it’s the vibes and you can even eat outside along the water cmonnn. I literally asked the GM what they do different and he mentioned it has to do with how they grill and season their food that makes it more unique, but that’s all I got. Just know you taste all that down to the house-made salsa and queso.
