Hi, I'm Alice, the girl with the crazy long hair, and I try all different things to see what works and what doesn't work. I just found this super small and super crazy long curling rod. Like, it's literally almost as tall as I am. And for reference, this is the size difference between the one that I normally use. I was going to try to curl my hair with this curling rod tonight, but I last minute changed my mind and we're going to try for waves instead. So, I decided to do kind of a French braid with this, but use the curling rod as a strand of my hair. So, instead of using three strands, I'm using two, and then the third strand is the curling rod. So, as I go along braiding my hair, I'm only adding strands of hair into my hair. I'm not adding anything more to the curling rod. And I'll be honest, by the end of this, I was really surprised at how uniform it kept my braid all the way to the bottom. Like, normally my braid is really skinny at the bottom, but this kept it nice and uniform. So, I'm wondering if in the morning my waves are going to be fairly uniform throughout my head, if that makes sense, or not going to get like super tight at the end. Now, once my hair was done, I decided to put some water on it just because I think that is going to help the waves a little more in the morning. And then I always finish my hair off with one of my toddler's socks at the bottom to help protect the ends. And then I secured it with a hair band like this. Then I did go ahead and spray more water all over my head just to help get better waves in the morning. And this is how it turned out. I have no idea what this is going to look like, but I'll be back tomorrow. We're going to take it out together, see if this worked and see if I should keep doing it or not.
