Hi, I'm Alice the girl with the crazy long hair. And I try all different things to see what works and what doesn't work. We're back at it tonight with this super long, crazy skinny curling rod that I just got and this time you guys, I promise we're curling my hair. Section your hair into two pieces, fold this in half and put it on your part. Now you guys, here's the deal. I tried doing what I normally do and nothing was holding it because it is so skinny and I tried doing it like this but because I couldn't pull on it tight, it just didn't work. So trust me when I say, tie all of your hair and the rod into a ponytail so you can tug on it. Start by curling a piece around it and then each time you wrap it around, grab some more hair and then do this all the way down the curling rod until you have all of the pieces from that side of your hair on the rod. After that, you just go ahead and keep curling it around the rod until you get to the ends. Now you guys, trust me on this. This one did not turn out very well, but this is how I finish it off. I did spray water on the bottom, put a sock over it and then tied it with this and it came undone. And I thought we would be fine, so I went ahead and I did the same thing on the other side. I always curl it away from my face just because that's how I prefer it. But because this rod is so skinny and so lightweight, I had a really hard time keeping it straight. Um as I was kind of going down with my hair, it was trying to twist into my hair, which made it difficult and why it was coming untwisted. And at this point, I decided we are going to retry my first side. I just didn't think that was going to work. So I did it all over again. I tried really hard to keep the rod straight and then once I had this part done, I didn't let it untwist. I held it in place while I twisted the other side as tight as I could, moved it to the back of my head and then secured it with a ponytail to hopefully get me the best curls for tomorrow. But honestly you guys, this one is so up in the air. I have no idea how this is going to turn out. I have a feeling it's either going to be so good or this is going to be an epic fail and it's going to be a little embarrassing. But that's fine. I'm off to bed. I'll be back tomorrow.
