Okay, hi. We're at the scene of the crime. My four-month-old kitten, Theodore, had gone in the bathroom behind me and I didn't think anything of it until he opened up the bottom drawer and has now barricaded himself in pretty, pretty tight and by accident. Well, I think by accident. I don't know, maybe he's emo. He did this on purpose. I don't know. But anyways, there's no hinges on the door and now I cannot get to my cat and I'm literally trying to like bust this shit down and it's not really busting down. So, and you know, I've tried to call emergency maintenance and they're not really emergency maintaining. And so now I literally am just about to fucking call the fire department or some shit because we gotta get this fucking door out of here. Or there's no hinges, so like now we gotta bust this shit down. But now I'm scared for them to bust it down because like what I gotta be like, like I'm scared for my baby, Theo. I don't have eyes on him in there. So like, anyways, help me. He's so sad that he can't get get out. Oh baby, I know. I know, Bubba. I'm gonna, I'm gonna get you out of here, okay? Oh, look at him putting his paw on mine. Stop it, you guys. Oh, I'm about to freaking cry. I know, Bubba. Alright, Teddy, I'm just gonna call the fire department, okay? I don't think I can get this door down without them. I know, baby. I know. Look at how bad he's trying to help me. Oh, baby. Welp, just got told that the fire department won't come out to help us with this. So! Update: maintenance is here but in the haste of freaking out, Theo knocked a product behind the drawer so now despite us having access to being able to close the drawer with a snake, it won't close enough to open the door. So onto the next plan. He's trying to avoid knocking the door down and I really just wanna knock this shit down. So anxious and Theo is crying. Alright, we're like hour four into Teddy being stuck and I'm freaking the fuck out and hours ago the fire department, you know, they were like, yeah, we're not gonna come and help you. I called the non-emergency line because I'm, and I'm, news to me because I thought y'all got cats out of trees and like despite this not being a tree, and so that was really frustrating. They said call animal control. Called animal control, they're like, girl, we find strays, why would we, like, we also cannot help you. And so now I do have one very diligent maintenance man who has come to help me and he is really kind, showed up in a cat shirt and truck tailors, but I needed like combat boots because I need to bust this shit down and my Doc Martens are in the storage unit, which I will literally go walk to and put on my freaking Docks and figure out a way to bust this shit down. I'm like freaking out because I don't know how to get the door down safely with Teddy. I'm just so scared for him. I know he's scared in there. I'm scared. Ugh, this is just like a really like fucked up like crazy situation. Hate it. So this is all the things we've tried so far. We tried the broom handle. Um, yeah, we're just like jammed. Now it feels like more closed than it was before. I'm so scared for my Teddy. I just want him out. I'm freaking out. A good five-hour long rescue mission to get Teddy Roosevelt back into safely. Holy cow, y'all. I cannot believe that everything this morning took place.
