Hook
I've seen a couple TikToks today talking about how during the dating phase, it's not normal to go 24 hours without talking to that person that you're like dating or courting or whatever. Um, and if you do go 24 hours without talking to that other person, it means that either they don't care about you or you don't care about them, whatever. I don't know. I'm oversimplifying it. A, everyone's entitled to whatever type of love they accept. Everyone has different attachment styles. I totally understand those points of view. However, I want to give my point of view, um, based on my experience. So my boyfriend, now fiancé, when we first started dating, he would, we would call, we would talk once a week. It would be, he would call me over the phone, make the plan to go on the date. He would call, text me the day before just to confirm, text me the day of just to confirm, and that went on for about four weeks. The only time we talked was when we were together in person hanging out. And it was by far the best, like obviously we're engaged now, but it was by far the best like dating experience that I've ever had. So I just like to throw out like a difference in opinion here that like not everybody needs to be texting 24 hours to show that they care. And I really like the fact that like when we did see each other, we had so much to catch up on and so much to talk about because we hadn't spoken all week. Just my thoughts.
