I’m breaking over this and i know it is what it is but i had planned to keep duchess until she was adopted. Going back to the shelter was not a part of the plan. Idk if it’s better or worse that she is still going to see me everyday. Once she is cleared of her parasites (Giardia and hookworm) i can take her on walks wearing the protection gown and gloves. I’m just so sad for her. Shes back at the shelter alone for weeks on end now due to the ringworm. I’m sorry girl you didn’t do anything wrong 😭 to this day we still haven’t really found many people really willing to take a big dog with ringworm and do the treatment at home. It’s hard to keep other dogs separate etc but if it’s a single dog or cat that can stay away and an area the infected pup can stay. Idk I’m grasping at straws because it just feels empty here without her so suddenly and to know she’s just alone there.
