Beautiful client came in today for her Grey Blending appointment. 🤍 We started at 10 AM, and once we got started, she mentioned that she needed to be out by 5 PM. With the amount of hair she has, I knew I couldn’t promise that. And this is something I really want all of my Grey Blending clients to understand: Please consider your Grey Blending appointment an ALL-DAY appointment. 🙏🏼 Grey Blending is extremely detailed and customized. There are SO many foils involved, and I can never predict exactly how the hair will lift or how long each step will take. I would rather reschedule a full transformation than rush the process and compromise the health of someone’s hair. Instead, we focused on making her current color softer and more blended while creating a plan for her hair health. Her entire front section had already been heavily overprocessed by someone else prior to coming to me, which caused quite a bit of breakage. I did NOT want to put that fragile area through another major lightening session. For now, we’re going to maintain her with toners, focus on getting her hair stronger and healthier, and give that front section time to recover. Once her hair is ready, we can safely move forward with her full Grey Blending transformation. 🤍 Healthy hair first. Beautiful color second. Never rushed. And for all of my future Grey Blending clients: please, please, please do not make plans after your appointment.
