How to get ahead in today's economy

The people who are getting ahead in today's economy, they're they are doing these three things. I'm going to tell you, it's very simple. Take you take notes, write down, pen and paper, classes in session. The first thing that they're doing is they are asking other people. When you see somebody pull up in a car that you're like, dude, how the fuck do you afford that? Ask them. Ask them. If somebody just went on a vacation and they're like, bro, how the hell did you pay for that? Ask them. If somebody has a promotion or like has a job that pays them a certain salary, ask, be like, how did you do that? How'd you get that? Ask them. Ask them. Okay, so that's what they're doing. Step one is they're actually asking people. Step two is you have to remain neutral. Whatever answer they give you, you remain neutral because someone is going to be like, oh, this vacation, all on a credit card. I literally have no money for this. I'm just doing it anyways. Interesting. Okay. Somebody tells you about the car they get and they're like, oh, like I just got an inheritance and I used it on spending a car. Hmm. Okay. Got it. You know, someone's like they just bought a house and they're like, oh, well, you know, my parents helped me pay for the down payment. Okay. Mhm. If they're like, oh, I just got this job because, you know, I studied this thing in school and I did this and that. Okay. Cool. Kind of cool. This is where most people fuck up is you have to remain neutral. You have to remain neutral. Because the thing that people will automatically do when they get the information is, well, I'll never get an inheritance and I don't have this degree and I won't live this circumstance and you immediately shut your down from step three when you do that. Okay? And step three is when you get an answer that like is in the realm of your control, believe them. Obviously the inheritance example, not in your control. Okay? Obviously if you're using debt, probably don't want to live your life like that. But when somebody says, oh, well, I did these steps to get here and that's how I was able to do it, believe them. Believe them. Okay? Because it might not it I how about this, I'll guarantee you it will not look the same way for you. You're correct. It won't. But it doesn't mean you can't figure out how to make it work for you. Because what they're handing you is a blueprint. What they're handing you is a recipe book. What they're handing you is an ingredient list. And you might not have all those ingredients in your kitchen, in your life, in your brain, in your experience, in your back pocket. But you might have this ingredient and that ingredient and that ingredient. And guess what? You ask enough people and you're like, well, these people have this ingredients, which I have those. And those people have those ingredients and I have this. And this people have these ingredients, well I have this. And you combine it into a unique way and it's and it's your path to how you get ahead. Your path to how you get ahead in today's economy comes through understanding what ingredients you currently have today that help you become successful. But if you don't know what ingredients you have, most of us are not looking in the kitchen. We're not looking in the cabinet, we're not looking in the cupboard because we're like, well, I don't have this ingredient. It's not there, so I'm just not going to try. And it's like, okay, keep keep doing that. Keep doing that. But if you want to get ahead in today's economy, you need to understand what ingredients are required for success and which one of them you currently possess because you do currently possess them. You just have to figure out which ones, um, that will actually get you ahead and then you use them.
