Welcome back to part 6, the one where my husband disappears. As we talked about in my last episode, where I had decided to put two feet in, that approximately lasted, um, zero fucking seconds before I had to rethink my entire life. So as I mentioned, this is the one where my husband disappears and we're gonna talk about it. So the day I decided I was going to be two feet in was the day that I had spent the entire day getting my son's first birthday party prepared at my parents house while he was at home with our son. Um, and then there came a point where I came home cause I wanted to spend time with my son before bedtime. And I had one last errand to run which was to go get drinks for the party and to pick up pictures. Or really it was just pick up pictures, but then somehow drinks got involved, um, for his birthday. So what had happened, um, instead of me going, I had asked my then husband to go to the store. Uh, he said he was gonna get drinks because they wanted to have alcohol there and I personally don't really care. You know, it's a kid's first birthday. They're not gonna remember it, but I am. And it was daylight and then it was dark out and I texted him and I called him and I got no replies. And I was like, okay, like there is many different places he could be. He could be running a fire call. Somebody could have gotten into an accident and he could have been helping them. Like, there's a lot of things or a lot of reasons he's given me in the past about why he was late or whatever the case may be. Um, but it was supposed to be a quick trip and it wasn't. So then after it started getting dark out and he wasn't responding back to me, I started reaching out to all of his friends. Every friend that I was mutuals with on Facebook, I reached out to them, asked if they had heard from him. Every single person said no. They tried calling him, they, he wasn't picking up. Um, they tried, you know, texting him. He wasn't responding. At some point, I believe, messages stopped getting delivered. Um, I reached out to his friends that at the fire station and I asked if anyone had seen him, heard from him, if there were any fire calls he could have been running on. There was absolutely nothing. Um, and so at this point I had also reached out to his family. Hey, have you guys heard from him? Everybody called him, everybody texted him, nobody was getting through to him naturally, because he wasn't picking up anybody's phone calls. So he was just gone. And because of, you know, the fact that like this had never happened before, um, I was pretty pretty nervous. I was thinking that, like, you know, my husband was dead on the side of the road somewhere and, you know, we weren't gonna be able to find him. So after quite a few hours of everybody out, you know, trying to reach him, there were people trying to look for him. Nobody could find his car anywhere. Um, I had contacted the police and filed a missing police report. Uh, missing person's report, sorry, um, for my husband. And then at the same time, I had gone down to the fire station just to check in to see if anybody heard from him. Nobody had heard from him. Um, and basically what ended happening is everybody that night that was at the firehouse went in search parties looking for him, trying to find him. Um, and I'm not too sure when they called it off, um, but I, you know, eventually kind of put it all together. So here, here is kind of the the story. So, can't find my husband, filed a missing person's report, there's people out looking for him, but he has an iPad. And that iPad has his location on it. But I don't know the password to the iPad, but I know that his password is a specific number because he told me. It is this specific number that is my password for his phone, and so I was just assuming it was the same for his iPad. And I didn't know the number specifically, but I knew how to get the number. So I went to his ex employee's place, um, the one where he got fired for an attitude problem. Naturally, cause it was the closest one. And I had asked them for this specific number and they gave it to me. They had it and they gave it to me. So I take that number home. Actually, I didn't even take it home. I called my mom, I gave her the password cause she was at home watching my son while I was out running around trying to find my husband. Um, and she put the password in, she found his iPhone. And you wanna know where it was? At a police station. You got that right. At a police station. Why is my husband at a police station, you may ask? I don't know. I'm about to find out myself. So, what I do, I take my not so happy ass to the police station. Because if that's where my husband is, why is he there? And so I go and I asked to speak to an officer regarding the fact that my husband is currently in there. Um, and they did get an officer. They told me that they weren't able to tell me what was going on because it was an ongoing investigation, but it was best that I heard it from my husband. And I was like, okay. And like at this point, I'm thinking, like dude went to the bar, got a little drunk, got into a bar fight, got arrested. You know, like that literally is where my thought process went. Um, but then I find out from there that he was actually transitioned to the prison. Follow for part seven.
