BaraJolka is a sand-theater duo formed by Svetlana Chekanova and Alexei Quiroz Chelnokov, creating live visual performances from sand, light, music and movement. Working on an illuminated surface, Svetlana uses only sand and her hands to build portraits, landscapes and characters. But the images are never permanent: with a few movements, one drawing can disappear and transform directly into the next. #art #artist #sand #niche #avantgarde
