UPDATE: Adopted 🩷This is Sandy. She’s a 4 year old Staffordshire who was surrendered to the shelter due to landlord issues. She is seriously the cutest, sweetest, silliest girl 🥺 Today was my first time meeting her, and it really sucks knowing it might also be my last because Sandy is scheduled for euthanasia this week at the Carson Animal Shelter. She is SUPER affectionate with people and genuinely loves everyone she meets. Her whole body would wiggle and her tail would start going every single time someone walked by. She was a little defensive toward other dogs during her assessment, so the shelter is recommending that she be the only dog in the home. From what I saw today, I also think she could be amazing with kids, as long as they’re respectful of her boundaries and give her the time and space she needs to decompress and adjust to a completely new environment. If you feel called to help Sandy, please come meet her this week at the Carson Animal Shelter in Gardena CA. Open Monday-Saturday 11am-5pm. Walk ins welcomed. Animal ID: A5529063
