Jesus

Jesus. As we head into this last week of September. Help us to remember what you have taught us. The first three weeks of September. Help us to be more loving. To be more good and holy in our behavior. To be more committed to justice. To standing for the person who's oppressed. Who's rejected, who's alone. Help us to be more forgiving. Not to hold grudges and seek revenge. But to really forgive. Help us, Lord God, to work hard. Not to waste the talents you've blessed us with, but to develop those talents. To work hard in school, on the job, in the home, wherever we are. Lord God, thank you. That you've not called us to a boring, dishwasher, dull life. But you've called us to celebrate you. By celebrating people and this incredible gift of life you've blessed us with. Lord, there's been trials, there's been tribulations, obstacles that I've experienced and I'm sure all of us have experienced this past month. But we thank you for them even. We thank you that we can learn from them. We thank you so much that it pushes us closer to you. We thank you so much that the Holy Spirit has been working in our lives in ways when we have messed up. And it's still working in our lives even when we mess up. Thank you, Lord, that you love us just as much as when we sin. As when we are more obedient to you. You love us all the time unconditionally. Thank you so much that as we head into October. We look forward to continuing to growing. We thank you for your blessings that will come this month. Help us to get closer and closer to you. In Jesus name. Amen.
