Indonesian motion designer Naufalrel Pandu creates digital experiments exploring typography, graphic design and movement. In Barely Working Clock, the familiar numbers of a clock no longer remain fixed in position. Instead, they stretch, rotate, flatten and drift around the screen, while only the moving hands preserve the basic idea of a functioning clock. The animation was created primarily in Cavalry, using oscillators, noise and repeating rectangular patterns, according to Naufalrel’s post. This experiment reflects his wider interest in kinetic typography: taking familiar graphic elements and using animation to completely change how we perceive them. #motion #design #artist #art #niche
