One sock is inside out. His shirt is backwards and inside out. And it’s covered in dirt. One outfit doesn’t tell us why. But if this is part of a bigger pattern, like often seeming unaware of where his body is, bumping into things, or seeking crashing and pushing, reduced body awareness or not registering proprioceptive input strongly could be part of the picture. Some kids seek more proprioceptive input through big movements like pushing, climbing, and crashing. Look for a consistent pattern across daily life, not one messy outfit. If your child is constantly seeking movement and big body input, my Sensory Seeker Survival Toolkit is linked in my bio.
