Why it worked
The video effectively uses a listicle format with clear, relatable examples of sensory-seeking behaviors, making it highly shareable among parents and caregivers who recognize these traits in their children. The creator's dual role as an OT and mom adds credibility and relatability.
Summary
This video lists ten common behaviors exhibited by children who are sensory seekers, such as constant movement, crashing, and biting. The creator, an occupational therapist and mom, explains that these actions are often a need for stronger sensory input rather than just "extra energy."

Original caption
As an OT and mom to a sensory seeker, I know this isn’t just “extra energy.” Crashing, jumping, chewing and rough play can be the body seeking stronger proprioceptive and vestibular input to feel more organized. It’s the intensity, frequency and pattern that matter. Stop guessing what your child’s body needs. ✨Get my Sensory Seeker Survival Toolkit through the link in my bio. #sensoryseeker #sensoryprocessing #adhdkids #occupationaltherapy
